On-line registration is required for all classes
In person class sizes are limited. Be sure to register to guarantee your spot!
We trust that all students who register for a class will arrive at the studio for their scheduled classes. Should you need to cancel, please do so a minimum of 2 hours prior to your scheduled and registered class time to avoid any no-show fees and in order to free up your spot to someone who may be on the wait list.
Crystal Tree Yoga does not take registrations, sign ups or cancellations via email or phone.
Even when a class appears to be full, you may and should add yourself to the wait list. When a cancellation is made, the first name on the wait list gets automatically added and confirmed for the class. You will receive an automated email or text at this time. Please consider yourself CONFIRMED and therefore responsible for either attending or canceling.
No Show Fees
NO SHOW FEE - a $17+hst fee will be charged to a student's account (credit card on their account) for all registered VIRTUAL, STUDIO and in person OUTDOOR Yoga no-shows if they are signed up for a class using a month unlimited pass, AutoPay Membership, or special monthly pass. If signed up for a class using a class pass, the pass will be considered used if the student is a no show.
All students agree to cancel a minimum of 2 hours prior to class start time to avoid this fee of $17+hst for a no show, or to avoid their class pass being considered used.
NOTE: Crystal Tree Yoga does not take registrations, sign ups or cancellations via telephone or email.
Class Cancellation Policy
All students registered for a class who know they can no longer attend must cancel a minimum of 2 hours prior to the class start time via the online MindBody system or App to avoid no show fees. These fees are clearly outlined under each pass descritpion.
In the event of a class cancellation due to inclement weather, Yoga Teacher illness or the minimum class requirement not being met, registered participants will receive an email notification 1 hour prior to class time whenever possible. The class schedule on MindBody will also be updated to reflect the cancellation. These situations do not happen often - that said, it is a good idea to be in the habit of checking online before heading to class to ensure that no changes have been made to a particular scheduled class time.
Late Arrival Policy
Please aim to arrive to class at least 10 minutes before the class start time. Arriving late is disruptive to everyone in the class and you may not have access to the class. We do lock the studio door at class start time to avoid interruptions.
Please put all phones to airplane mode or turn off for practice.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable, loose, active wear that won’t restrict your movement or shift when you move. Your clothing should be loose enough for you to move in, but not so baggy that it gets in your way or that your Yoga Teacher can’t see your form. A tank top and leggings/yoga pants for women, and a t-shirt and elastic-waisted shorts for men should be perfect. You may also want to bring a long-sleeved layer, as you may get cold at the end of your practice. Also, it is customary to have bare feet during class. This is both so you don’t slip, and so that you can more firmly connect to the Earth beneath you.
We are all influenced by the sense of smell. Since our Yoga practice involves a lot of deep breath work, we ask that you be mindful of this before coming to class. Strong scent carried on a person’s clothing or body can fill the space and affect other student’s practice even when outdoors and many people are very sensitive to scents (i.e. perfume, smoke, etc.).
Parking is free in the shared front lot at Rosemount Plaza and on the side residential streets. Always abide by Georgetown bylaws if parking in the residential areas in town.
If attending classes at Stonewell Farm, parking is lengthwise by the guest house, side by side in front of the barn or sideways by the garage with the greenhouse. If these spots are all taken, please head back out toward the entrance and pull over to the right completely onto the grass facing out toward the road.
Please do not block anyone and please do not park at the house/main garage.
This is a welcoming environment where you are encouraged to let go of judgement, competition and expectations and to just "be" on your mat. Your yoga practice is about you and your inner journey. Observe and listen to your body and enjoy your class.
Remember to take all of your belongings with you.
Students must be 18+ to attend any regular scheduled classes, unless otherwise specified.
Seasonal Classes and Events at Stonewell Farm
There will be an outhouse for the public at Stonewell Farm this summer (late June)!
Please note that there are multiple bee hives on the property and thousands of bees in the fields as we practice. They are busy bees and not at all concerned with us being there. If you have bee allergies, please consider this prior to booking for a class and please come prepared (EpiPen, etc...).
